As I’ve said in other places, at other times, I am me. And you are you. I’m an infosec “professional” who’s been around for a bit. To steal a phrase fromWeebl I’ve seen things, I’ve seen them with my eyes. in my time working in IT and infosec. Some of it’s been good, some of it’s been an utter shitshow see, for example, the SCO Group v. IBM, et al. lawsuit.

Spoilers up front. I’m profane, and I like the word ‘fuck.’ Not nearly as profane as Al Swearengen in Deadwood, but enough that some people are offend. My motto in life is ‘I’ve been hated by better people’ and tend to abide it pretty stongly.

I have many varied interests. I enjoy movies, gaming (not FPS’, though), tabletop gaming, and reading. As with most infosec folks I’m always interested in learning more.

And before we get too far, no, I don’t have a CISSP. I don’t plan on getting one, either. I also don’t have a CEH because I don’t support EC-Council, due to a number of controversies. I do have ITIL, AWS, and CompTIA certs, though.

I speak a few languages, all of them poorly, and grammar is something I enjoy. Oh, and if you’re going to ask me to do layout in MS Word, Open Office Writer, or Google Docs, I’m going to tell you to fuck right the fuck off. Those are not layout tools they handle images and text flow about as well as a Pinto reacts to a rear-end collision.

I plan to update this blog on occasion. I’m going to try and update weekly, but don’t hold me to that. With that, I bid you adieu for today.
